Man Accused Of Exploiting London Teen

A New Zealand man is facing blackmail charges after he tried to extort a London teen into performing sexual acts online.

In May of 2013 members of the Child Exploitation Unit launched an internet luring investigation following a complaint from a 16-year-old girl.

Police say the female victim was communicating with a man online and he had convinced her to share inappropriate photos of herself. After receiving the photos, he used them against her and tried to make her perform sexually explicit acts online.

Through investigation police found out the man was living in New Zealand and contacted officers there. A search warrant was executed at the home of Keith Jock Wickliffe.

Investigators identified two additional young female victims, who both live in New Zealand.

Wickliffe has been charged with blackmail offences in New Zealand.
