Woman Fights Off Sexual Assault

Police are looking for a suspect after a woman reported being sexually assaulted on Richmond St. in London.

The London Police Service says on Tuesday around 9:10pm, a woman was walking south on Richmond St. from York St., under the railway underpass, when she was grabbed from behind. The victim reported being touched in a sexual manner by a man. She was able to fight off the assault and the suspect took off heading west.

The woman was not harmed in the attack.

The suspect is described as a white male, approximately 28-32 years old, 5’11” to 6’1”, with a stocky build. He is bald or had very short, light coloured hair, and poor dental hygiene. He was wearing a baggy, zip-up style Ecko sweater with the hood up over his head, grey baggy sweatpants and white running shoes.

Police have released two photos of a possible suspect.
