UPDATE: Police ID 11-Year-Old Killed In Crash

Police have identified an 11-year-old girl who has died following a head-on crash in Norwich Township.

The Oxford County Ontario Provincial Police say on Saturday around 4:40pm, a car traveling west on Norwich Rd. lost control, entered the eastbound lane and collided head-on with an SUV.

Abbygale Fleet, 11, was a passenger of the SUV and was pronounced dead at the hospital.

Two drivers and four other passengers were taken to hospital with non-life threatening injuries.

Norwich Rd. was closed between Middletown Line and County Rd. 13 for over four hours, but has since been re-opened.

The cause of the crash is still under investigation.

Sarnia police said the investigation began on May 29 after the victim was allegedly attacked by acquaintances at a residence near Tashmoo Avenue and Christopher Drive at Aamjiwnaang First Nation.
