Lightning Derail Express

Despite leading the London Lightning in the first quarter, the Windsor Express fell 107-85.

During the game Saturday night, the Express were three points ahead going into the second quarter, but their lead was short lived as the Lightning took a 57-43 lead at halftime. Going into the final quarter, the Lightning were even further ahead with 28 points. Windsor was able to close the gap a bit before the end the game, but weren't able to make a comeback.

John Hart was the top scorer with 25 points and seven rebounds for London. Jamarcus Ellis and Quinnel Brown led the Express with 15 points.

The Express are back on Thursday to take on the Brampton A's at 7pm, and the Lightning will play the Halifax Rainmen next Saturday at 7:30pm.

Two men arrested in Tashmoo Ave. standoff

Sarnia police said the investigation began on May 29 after the victim was allegedly attacked by acquaintances at a residence near Tashmoo Avenue and Christopher Drive at Aamjiwnaang First Nation.
