UPDATE: Westbound Lanes Of 401 Reopened

The westbound lanes of Hwy. 401 are now fully reopened at Hwy. 402.

All lanes were closed for hours this morning due to two different incidents.

OPP say two tractor trailers had to be towed from the scene of each crash.

No charges have been laid as of yet.

In the London area, Environment Canada forecasts 2-4 cm of flurries today and a temperature steady around -12C, thanks to a frigid Arctic airmass.  The weather office predicts that extreme cold warnings will likely be required at times during the week due to the combination of cold temperatures and brisk winds. Environment Canada says we can expect the coldest weather of the season so far, for the rest of the week.

Grey-Bruce and Huron-Perth are under Snowsquall Warnings. There are some road closures in the Listowel and Wingham areas. For the latest on midwestern Ontario road conditions click HERE.
