McCormick Canada Plant Expanding

The McCormick Canada plant in London is in the midst of a $3.5-million expansion, which is expected to create 27 new full time jobs.

The project will also ensure 435 existing jobs remain in the city.

McCormick Canada is the largest manufacturer of spices, seasonings and dry sauces in the country.

The expansion of the Clarke Rd. site allows for the company to relocate a high-capacity production line from the U.S. to London and improve production capacity. It is expected to more than double the company's exports.

Ontario is granting McCormick $354,240 towards to the project through the Southwestern Ontario Development Fund.
