Two Arrested After Man Shot

Police are investigating after a man suffered a gunshot wound on Oneida Nation of the Thames First Nation.

The Middlesex Ontario Provincial Police say on Saturday around 8:40am, a man was shot at a residence during an altercation with another individual. The injured man was taken to hospital and treated for minor injuries.

Police have arrested two men in connection with the incident and charges are pending.

Sarnia police said the investigation began on May 29 after the victim was allegedly attacked by acquaintances at a residence near Tashmoo Avenue and Christopher Drive at Aamjiwnaang First Nation.
