Gun Scare At B. Davidson High School

A young boy is in police custody following a gun scare at a London high school.

Armed officers flooded Trafalgar St. around 9am this morning and those living in the area of B. Davidson Secondary School were asked to stay indoors.

It turns out the teen had brought a cap gun to school. No threats were made.

"We had five schools locked down in the area for safety precautions. The student had associates that were linked to different schools and there was the potential that he may have travelled to any one of them," says London Police Constable Ken Steeves. "I can't get into the reason given as to why he brought the gun to school."

The teen was led out of the front doors of the school and placed in a police cruiser by two officers. He had his hands tied in front of him while an officer carried his backpack.

No charges have been laid as of yet.The investigation is ongoing.

Lockdowns have been lifted at all London schools.

More to come.
