Spits Fall To The Knights

The London Knights rallied in the third period to beat the Windsor Spitfires 5-2 Friday night.

During the game, both teams scored to tie the game 2-2 at the end of the first period. After a scoreless second period, the Knights finished off the Spits in the third, scoring three unanswered goals for the win.

Christian Dvorak was the top scorer for London with two goals. Owen MacDonald, Matt Rupert and Mitchell Marner each scored one.

Cristiano DiGiacinto and Sam Povorozniouk each scored a goal for Windsor.

The Knights take on the Sarnia Sting on Saturday at 7pm. And at 7:05, the Spitfires face off against the Kitchener Rangers.

New military crosswalk in Sarnia to be unveiled

Two men arrested in Tashmoo Ave. standoff

Sarnia police said the investigation began on May 29 after the victim was allegedly attacked by acquaintances at a residence near Tashmoo Avenue and Christopher Drive at Aamjiwnaang First Nation.
