UPDATE: One Dead After Crash Near Western University

One man is dead and two others are injured after a car hit a tree and flipped on its side near Western University.

London fire officials were called to the scene on Perth Dr. south of Windermere Rd. just before 3:30am Sunday morning. Officials say the vehicle struck a tree and flipped on its passenger side. The vehicle's roof was pinned against a tree an the three men inside had to be extricated from the vehicle.

Police have identified the man killed in the crash as 22-year-old Jan Broz of London.

The two males who survived the crash remain in hospital. The driver is currently in critical condition and passenger is listed in fair condition.

The Traffic Management Unit is investigating and they say alcohol may have been a factor.

Two men arrested in Tashmoo Ave. standoff

Sarnia police said the investigation began on May 29 after the victim was allegedly attacked by acquaintances at a residence near Tashmoo Avenue and Christopher Drive at Aamjiwnaang First Nation.
