Wine And Food Show Attracts Record Crowd

Over 15,600 people attended the 10th Annual Wine and Food Show at the Western Fair District, making it the largest event yet.

This year's three-day event was held in the larger Agriplex over the course of Thursday, Friday and Saturday. All previous events had been in the Progress Building.

There were over 100 craft breweries, wineries and restaurants with exhibits.

Officials at the Western Fair District say this year's attendance puts the show in a new category, stating there is potential for global exhibitors come next year.

The charity coat check raised $3,562 for Veteran's Arts at London's Parkwood Hospital.

Last year's event drew 12,173 people.
