OLG Makes Payment To City

The City of London is getting over $1.13-million as a third-quarter payment for hosting the OLG Slots at the Western Fair District.

To date, London has received over $58.7-million in gaming revenue from the OLG.

The OLG is the largest source of non-tax revenue for the Ontario government, contributing about $2-billion annually.

The money is used to fund Ontario Trillium Foundation grants and for community projects.

Sarnia police said the investigation began on May 29 after the victim was allegedly attacked by acquaintances at a residence near Tashmoo Avenue and Christopher Drive at Aamjiwnaang First Nation.
