Knights Down The Sting

The London Knights defeated the Sarnia Sting 6-2 in OHL action Friday night.

During the game, both teams scored once in the first period to tie the game. Sarnia scored again the in second, but the Knights picked up their momentum and were able to score five more goals for a four point advantage. Neither team scored in the third, ensuring the win for London.

Chris Martenet, Max Domi, Owen MacDonald, Mitchell Marner, Chandler Yakimowicz and Aaron Berisha each scored once for London.

The Knights will take on the Belleville Bulls on Saturday at 7:05pm.

Two men arrested in Tashmoo Ave. standoff

Sarnia police said the investigation began on May 29 after the victim was allegedly attacked by acquaintances at a residence near Tashmoo Avenue and Christopher Drive at Aamjiwnaang First Nation.
