UPDATE: OPP Close Some Roads Due to Snow & Blowing Snow

February arrived with a vengeance, bringing snow and blowing snow and extreme cold to a wide swath of midwestern Ontario.

A winter storm warning is now over  for Perth,  Wellington and Huron  Counties.  Blowing snow caused drifting and poor visibility at times.

Wind chill values near minus 20 to minus 25 are likely.

Perth County OPP urge motorists to stay off the roads if they can.

New military crosswalk in Sarnia to be unveiled

Two men arrested in Tashmoo Ave. standoff

Sarnia police said the investigation began on May 29 after the victim was allegedly attacked by acquaintances at a residence near Tashmoo Avenue and Christopher Drive at Aamjiwnaang First Nation.
