Express Strike Down Lightning

The Windsor Express defeated the London Lightning 114-100 Wednesday night at the WFCU Centre.

The Lightning were able to take a one point lead by the end of the first period, but the Express made a comeback making the score 60-48 at halftime. Windsor then extended their lead to 86-70 after three quarters and were able to retain a 14 point lead for the win.

Quinnel Brown led Windsor with 22 points, with Kirk Williams Jr. scoring 21.

Top point scorers for the Lightning were Ed Horton with 22 points, followed by Marvin Phillips with 18 points.

The Express take on the Lightning again on Thursday at 7pm.

Sarnia police said the investigation began on May 29 after the victim was allegedly attacked by acquaintances at a residence near Tashmoo Avenue and Christopher Drive at Aamjiwnaang First Nation.
