A major fire at a downtown business caused the closure of Hwy. 4 in Exeter Friday night.
Crews were called to the scene around 3:30pm yesterday, to the report of a fire at Best Computers building in the town's south end.
Flames were seen shooting from the second floor of the three-storey structure.
Hwy. remains closed from Huron St. E to Sanders St. as a result of the fire. The closure is expected to remain in place for around two days. A detour has been put into place.
More information on the fire is expected today.
