Stock photo.Two people are being treated for minor injuries after a police cruiser and SUV collided on Adelaide St. at Fanshawe Park Rd.
Investigators say the officer was travelling northbound on Adelaide St. to respond to a fire call when it hit the SUV, which was travelling westbound on Fanshawe Park Rd.
The officer had activated the lights and sirens.
Both the officer and driver of the SUV were taken to hospital.
Forensic identification is on scene investigating.
