Lightning Fall To Power

Despite leading the first half of the game, the London Lightning fell 96-94 in a close game against the Mississauga Power on Sunday.

The Lightning took a 17-14 lead in the first quarter, but the Power were able to close the gap slightly to 38-37 at the half. Mississauga took a three point lead by the end of the third quarter and were able to retain their lead for the win.

Marvin Phillips was the Lightning’s top scorer with 26 points and 12 rebounds, followed by Brent Jennings with 19 points.

The Lightning are back on Friday to take on the Windsor Expree at 7pm.

Sarnia police said the investigation began on May 29 after the victim was allegedly attacked by acquaintances at a residence near Tashmoo Avenue and Christopher Drive at Aamjiwnaang First Nation.
