Smash And Grab At Exeter Jewellery Store

Police are searching for suspects following a smash and grab at an Exeter jewellery store.

Investigators say sometime during the early morning hours of February 6, suspects smashed a street display case at Bakelaar Jewellers on Main St. S.

The thieves took four brass wedding rings and a silver necklace with a pendant. The pendant is heart shaped with a diamond on it and engraved with the word love.

Anyone with information is asked to contact OPP or CrimeStoppers.

Two men arrested in Tashmoo Ave. standoff

Sarnia police said the investigation began on May 29 after the victim was allegedly attacked by acquaintances at a residence near Tashmoo Avenue and Christopher Drive at Aamjiwnaang First Nation.
