Update: Missing London Man Found

London police were able to locate a 71-year-old London man who hadn't been seen in almost 12 hours.

Sylvester Smith was last seen Monday at 7pm and spent the night outside. He was reported missing early Tuesday morning. Police say he has early onset dementia and struggles to speak. He is also diabetic.

Constable Frank Figliomeni tells Blackburn News they got a tip from family about where Smith might go. St Thomas police officers found fresh footprints in the snow in the area of Highbury Ave. south of Ferguson Line, followed them for about 90 minutes and located Smith.

He was taken to Victoria Hospital to be checked out but police say he appears to be okay.
