New Chief Of Police To Be Announced

The Police Services Board will announce London's next chief of police Thursday morning.

Chief Brad Duncan announced last fall he would be retiring following 36 years in policing.

The announcement will be made at police headquarters on Dundas St. at 10:30am.

Duncan's retirement is effective May 1 of 2015.

London's Deputy Chief of Police Brent Shea is also retiring on July 13, 2015. The Police Services Board is actively seeking a replacement for him.

Two men arrested in Tashmoo Ave. standoff

Sarnia police said the investigation began on May 29 after the victim was allegedly attacked by acquaintances at a residence near Tashmoo Avenue and Christopher Drive at Aamjiwnaang First Nation.
