Man Killed In Crash North Of Thamesford

A man is dead after a two-vehicle crash in Zorra Township.

The Oxford County Ontario Provincial Police says on Wednesday around 6:30pm, the driver of a car traveling north on 19th Line lost control and collided with a southbound minivan.

The male driver of the car was pronounced dead at the scene. His identity is being withheld, pending the notification of next of kin.

The driver of the minivan was taken to hospital with non-life threatening injuries.

19th Line was closed for several hours between County Rd. 68 and County Rd. 74 while officers were at the scene, but it has since been reopened.

The investigation is ongoing.
