Two London Men Charged After Scrap Material Taken From Goderich Area

Two London men have been charged after Huron OPP found stolen scrap materials from two locations in Goderich.

The Huron OPP says they stopped a U-Haul pickup truck in the north end of the town at about 3am last Friday.

After speaking with the three occupants of the vehicle, police say the officers became suspicious of the load in the U-Haul.

Through their investigation, police say the contents included two rims and tires from a local business and a variety of materials from the Habitat for Humanity on Huckins St.

22-year-old Cyle Van Bynen and 22-year-old Ricki Parker are facing theft and mischief charges in relation to the case.
