Norfolk County Death Not Suspicious

Police say foul play was not a factor in the death of a Hamilton woman whose body was found on the road in Waterford.

OPP were called around 8am on Sunday morning after someone discovered the body of the woman lying on Stratford Ct.

The 49-year-old was pronounced dead at the hospital. An autopsy was done today, and OPP say the death is not suspicious.

The name of the woman has not been released.

Sarnia police said the investigation began on May 29 after the victim was allegedly attacked by acquaintances at a residence near Tashmoo Avenue and Christopher Drive at Aamjiwnaang First Nation.
