Woman Killed In Crash Near Exeter Identified

The OPP has released the identity of a woman who died in a crash early Wednesday morning south of Exeter.

Just before 6am, the Huron County OPP was called to London Rd. after a Jeep Wrangler crossed the centre line and sideswiped a Toyota Solara, then hit a Chrysler Intrepid head on.

The lone occupant of the Chrysler Intrepid, 46-year-old Mary-Jane Forrester of South Huron, was pronounced dead at the scene.

The 19-year-old driver of the Jeep was taken to hospital with non-serious injuries, as were the two occupants of the Solara.

The cause of the crash is under investigation.

London Rd. has been reopened between Kirkton Rd. and Crediton Rd.

Two men arrested in Tashmoo Ave. standoff

Sarnia police said the investigation began on May 29 after the victim was allegedly attacked by acquaintances at a residence near Tashmoo Avenue and Christopher Drive at Aamjiwnaang First Nation.
