Knights Fall To Attack In OT

The London Knights fell 2-1 in a close overtime game against the Owen Sound Attack Saturday night.

The Attack took a 1-0 lead in the first period and held the advantage throughout a scoreless second frame. In the third, the Knights were able to score a goal to tie the game and force overtime. However, Owen Sound scored the winning goal with less than two minutes into extra time.

Matt Rupert scored London's only goal.

The Knights will battle the Saginaw Spirit for their last regular season game on Friday at 7:30pm.

Two men arrested in Tashmoo Ave. standoff

Sarnia police said the investigation began on May 29 after the victim was allegedly attacked by acquaintances at a residence near Tashmoo Avenue and Christopher Drive at Aamjiwnaang First Nation.
