Arrest Warrant For Stabbing Suspect

London police have a warrant out for a 34-year-old London man after another man was stabbed in an apartment building on Wharncliffe Rd.

At around 1:45am on Wednesday, officers were called to a disturbance in the common area of an apartment building at 349 Wharncliffe Rd. N.  They found a 23-year-old man with a stab wound to the abdomen. He is in fair condition in hospital, is conscious and police say his injury is not life-threatening. They are not releasing his name at this time.

The whereabouts of the suspect, 34-year-old Ahteebah Collins of London, are unknown, and he's wanted on a warrant for assault with a weapon.

Constable Danielle Wright tells Blackburn News investigators believe this was not a random crime and the public isn't at risk.

Two men arrested in Tashmoo Ave. standoff

Sarnia police said the investigation began on May 29 after the victim was allegedly attacked by acquaintances at a residence near Tashmoo Avenue and Christopher Drive at Aamjiwnaang First Nation.
