Elgin County OPP responded to the crash on March 12 at around 8:45am.
At the time of the collision police say the tractor driver was transporting maple syrup on Quaker Rd. just south of Roberts Line in Central Elgin.
The operator was transported to hospital with minor injuries and later released.
OPP charged the 24-year-old pickup truck driver with careless driving.
