Fire Sends Two To Hospital

Two men have been taken to hospital following a house fire in Blandford Blenheim Township.

The Oxford County Ontario Provincial Police says on Thursday around 5pm, the fire started in kitchen of the home located on Township Rd. 4 near Hwy. 401.

Two men inside the house were able to escape the blaze and call for help. They were both taken to hospital where they were treated for minor injuries. They have since been released.

The fire is still under investigation but is believed to have been accidental.

Two men arrested in Tashmoo Ave. standoff

Sarnia police said the investigation began on May 29 after the victim was allegedly attacked by acquaintances at a residence near Tashmoo Avenue and Christopher Drive at Aamjiwnaang First Nation.
