London-Born Actor Looks Back At 'The Breakfast Club'

Odds are, if you were a teenager in the 1980's, you went to see "The Breakfast Club."

It's been 30 years since the John Hughes film about five high school students spending a Saturday in detention hit theatres and became, arguably, the best "teen movie" ever made.

It made stars out of Molly Ringwald, Judd Nelson, Anthony Michael Hall, Emilio Estevez, and Ally Sheedy.

It also featured an actor who was born and raised in London, Ontario.

John Kapelos was cast as the wise Carl the janitor in the film.

With the movie being shown in North American theatres this week to mark its 30th anniversary, Kapelos spoke with BlackburnNews.com's Scott Kitching from his home in Los Angeles.
