High levels of air pollution are possible this afternoon.

An AIR QUALITY WARNING is in place due to the possibility of deteriorating air quality. Hot and sunny conditions are expected to cause increasing ground-level ozone concentrations this afternoon. Moderate risk AQHI values are expected throughout the day with the potential of short-term high risk AQHI values in the afternoon.

When air pollution levels are high, everyone should limit time outdoors. Consider reducing or rescheduling outdoor sports, activities and events.

You may experience mild and common symptoms such as eye, nose and throat irritation, headaches or a mild cough. More serious but less common symptoms include wheezing, chest pains or severe cough. If you think you are having a medical emergency, seek immediate medical assistance.

People more likely to be impacted by outdoor air pollution, including people aged 65 and older, pregnant people, infants and young children, people with an existing illness or chronic health condition, and people who work outdoors, should reduce or reschedule strenuous activities outdoors and seek medical attention if experiencing symptoms.

Hockey fans wanting to see the London Knights take on Kitchener at Budweiser Gardens can now get tickets.
More tickets to games one and two were released to the public on Wednesday morning.
Several lower bowl seats are among the tickets that went on sale at 10am.
The Knights kick-start their Western Conference Quarter-Final series against the Kitchener Rangers Friday night at Budweiser Gardens.
Game two is on Sunday at 4pm.
Tickets for the Western Conference Quarter-Final series are $22.75 each and can be purchased in person at the London Knights Armoury or over the phone at 519-681-0800 ext 1.
