Dream Lottery Unveils Spring Prizing

The grand prize winner of London's spring Dream Lottery will choose between four luxury homes or $1-million in cash.

Officials from the Children's Hospital, St. Joseph's Health Care London and the London Health Sciences Centre unveiled the prizes today.

The grand prize is either a home in London, a condo, a home in Grand Bend, a downtown Toronto condo in the Fort York District, or $1-million in cash. Each home has a cash prize. There are also cars and vacations up for grabs, including a vacation for life option.

The basement of a London home on Sumac Way, along with its plaid carpets, features a sitting area and fire place, pool table, poker table and wine cellar.
"I don't know where these ideas come from, but I just started thinking that it needed to be a Mad Men basement," says Designer Susan Jory.

Tickets go on sale today and the grand prize will be drawn on June 25.

There will also be the 50/50 draw, with a guaranteed minimum prize of $250,000. In the winter draw, the winner took home over $386,000.

There are 204,000 tickets for sale with another 10,200 tickets to be awarded as prizes ahead of the grand prize draw. Tickets can be bought at the dream homes, online or at Shoppers Drug Mart locations across London

"I would encourage people to come out sooner than later to see our beautiful dream properties and to support us as much as they are able," says President of the Children's Health Foundation Susan Crowley.

All local dream homes are open or will be open for public viewing. For more information and where to buy tickets visit dreamitwinit.ca.
