Time Set Aside For Panovski Preliminary Hearing

Boris Panovski is getting closer to a trial date.

The 70-year-old Scarborough man is facing one count of first-degree murder and one count of attempted murder in the shooting death of Don Frigo and the wounding of Frigo's wife at the Hullet Wildlife Area last September.

In a video appearance in Goderich court this morning, it was agreed that he would appear again by video on April 9 to set a date for a pre-trial meeting.  A representative for the lawyer that was just hired by Panovski confirmed to the court that they have now received disclosure documents from the crown.

Two weeks have been set aside for a preliminary hearing in Goderich in October.
