High levels of air pollution are possible this afternoon.

An AIR QUALITY WARNING is in place due to the possibility of deteriorating air quality. Hot and sunny conditions are expected to cause increasing ground-level ozone concentrations this afternoon. Moderate risk AQHI values are expected throughout the day with the potential of short-term high risk AQHI values in the afternoon.

When air pollution levels are high, everyone should limit time outdoors. Consider reducing or rescheduling outdoor sports, activities and events.

You may experience mild and common symptoms such as eye, nose and throat irritation, headaches or a mild cough. More serious but less common symptoms include wheezing, chest pains or severe cough. If you think you are having a medical emergency, seek immediate medical assistance.

People more likely to be impacted by outdoor air pollution, including people aged 65 and older, pregnant people, infants and young children, people with an existing illness or chronic health condition, and people who work outdoors, should reduce or reschedule strenuous activities outdoors and seek medical attention if experiencing symptoms.

Tickets for Van Halen at Western Fair District this summer will go on sale to the general public at 10am Saturday, April 4.
Ticketmaster says tickets for the August 5, 2015 show will cost $101 -- $82.50 plus $18.50 in service fees. There will be a limit of eight tickets per customer.
The announcement that Free 981 welcomes Van Halen to Western Fair District this summer is apparently just the start of the creation of a new concert venue for London.
The outdoor show, with opener Kenny Wayne Shepherd, marks the first time the district will stage an outdoor concert outside of fair-time. The horse-racing oval will hold up to 20,000 people.
