Knights Defeat Rangers

The London Knights scored a big 6-2 victory over the Kitchener Rangers to take a 2-0 lead in their OHL playoff series.

On Sunday, the Knights took a 3-1 lead in the first period and added two goals in the second to make it 5-1. Kitchener scored their second goal in the final frame, but it wasn't enough with the Knights scoring one more of their own for the win.

Mitchell Marner led London with a hat-trick, while Julius Bergman, Josh Sterk and Max Domi each scored one goal.

The Knights are in Kitchener on Tuesday to take on the Rangers in Game 3 at 7pm.

Sarnia police said the investigation began on May 29 after the victim was allegedly attacked by acquaintances at a residence near Tashmoo Avenue and Christopher Drive at Aamjiwnaang First Nation.
