Drugs And Gun Seized In Raid

A 26-year-old London man is facing a slew of weapons and drug charges after police seized meth, cocaine and guns from an east end home.

On March 31, members of the Guns and Drugs Section of the London Police Service and the RCMP raided a Hansuld St. home.

Officers seized the the following items:

  •  Browning Challenger semi-automatic .22 calibre handgun
  •  four rounds of ammunition
  •  2.6g of crystal meth valued at $260
  •  2.9g of cocaine valued at $290
  •  36 grams of marihuana valued at $360
  •  $535 Canadian currency
Adam Booth, 26, of London faces the following charges:
  •  unauthorized possession of a firearm
  •  possession of a loaded/unloaded regulated firearm
  •  careless storage of firearm
  •  six counts of possession of a firearm or ammunition contrary to order
  •  breach of probation
  •  possession of a controlled substance
  •  two counts of possession of a controlled substance for the purpose of trafficking
Booth will appear in court at a later date.

Two men arrested in Tashmoo Ave. standoff

Sarnia police said the investigation began on May 29 after the victim was allegedly attacked by acquaintances at a residence near Tashmoo Avenue and Christopher Drive at Aamjiwnaang First Nation.
