High levels of air pollution are possible this afternoon.

An AIR QUALITY WARNING is in place due to the possibility of deteriorating air quality. Hot and sunny conditions are expected to cause increasing ground-level ozone concentrations this afternoon. Moderate risk AQHI values are expected throughout the day with the potential of short-term high risk AQHI values in the afternoon.

When air pollution levels are high, everyone should limit time outdoors. Consider reducing or rescheduling outdoor sports, activities and events.

You may experience mild and common symptoms such as eye, nose and throat irritation, headaches or a mild cough. More serious but less common symptoms include wheezing, chest pains or severe cough. If you think you are having a medical emergency, seek immediate medical assistance.

People more likely to be impacted by outdoor air pollution, including people aged 65 and older, pregnant people, infants and young children, people with an existing illness or chronic health condition, and people who work outdoors, should reduce or reschedule strenuous activities outdoors and seek medical attention if experiencing symptoms.

A 26-year-old London man is facing a slew of weapons and drug charges after police seized meth, cocaine and guns from an east end home.
On March 31, members of the Guns and Drugs Section of the London Police Service and the RCMP raided a Hansuld St. home.
Officers seized the the following items:
<ul>
	<li> Browning Challenger semi-automatic .22 calibre handgun</li>
	<li> four rounds of ammunition</li>
	<li> 2.6g of crystal meth valued at $260</li>
	<li> 2.9g of cocaine valued at $290</li>
	<li> 36 grams of marihuana valued at $360</li>
	<li> $535 Canadian currency</li>
</ul>
Adam Booth, 26, of London faces the following charges:
<ul>
	<li> unauthorized possession of a firearm</li>
	<li> possession of a loaded/unloaded regulated firearm</li>
	<li> careless storage of firearm</li>
	<li> six counts of possession of a firearm or ammunition contrary to order</li>
	<li> breach of probation</li>
	<li> possession of a controlled substance</li>
	<li> two counts of possession of a controlled substance for the purpose of trafficking</li>
</ul>
Booth will appear in court at a later date.
