Knights Denied Playoff Sweep

The Kitchener Rangers were able to force Game 5 after defeating the London Knights 5-4 on Thursday.

The Knights took a 1-0 lead in the first period, but the Rangers rallied in the second to gain a 4-2 advantage by the end of the second.  London scored two more in the third, but one final goal from Kitchener prevented the Knights from tying the game.

Christian Dvorak led London with two goals, while Mitchell Marner and Jack Hidi each scored one.

The Knights lead the playoff series 3-1 and will take on the Rangers once again on Friday at 7:30pm.

Two men arrested in Tashmoo Ave. standoff

Sarnia police said the investigation began on May 29 after the victim was allegedly attacked by acquaintances at a residence near Tashmoo Avenue and Christopher Drive at Aamjiwnaang First Nation.
