United Way Announces 2015 Campaign Chair

Senior Vice President of TD Canada Trust's Western Ontario Region Anna Iacobelli is the United Way of London and Middlesex's 2015 Campaign Chair.

Iacobelli will head the fundraising efforts throughout the year to help the organization meet its goal, which will be announced at the 3M Harvest Lunch in the fall.

Last year, Campaign Chair and London Chief of Police Brad Duncan, backed by a team of volunteers, raised a record $9,005,622.

"I think we will be able to do more than last year. The Chief did a fantastic job and we've engaged some new individuals, we really want to leverage the whole 'GenNext' community as well, so I think we have a great opportunity with our younger generation," Iacobelli tells BlackburnNews.com. "A lot of it will be through workplace programs and social media. We will do after work events, use Twitter and Facebook to get the message across."

The money raised through the annual campaign stays in the community and supports 88 different programs for those in need.
