Knights Fined For 'Inappropriate' Comments

The London Knights have been fined after the team's head coach made "unprofessional and inappropriate comments" after a playoff game.

The Ontario Hockey League says Head Coach Dale Hunter made the comments to the media following a game on Friday, April 3 that saw the Knights fall 6-3 to the visiting Kitchener Rangers.

The Knights hockey club has been fined $5,000.

The Knights ultimately beat out the Rangers in the first round of the playoffs and will now face off against the Erie Otters for Round 2.  Game 1 is on Thursday at 7pm.

New military crosswalk in Sarnia to be unveiled

Sarnia police said the investigation began on May 29 after the victim was allegedly attacked by acquaintances at a residence near Tashmoo Avenue and Christopher Drive at Aamjiwnaang First Nation.
