Knights Drop Game 2 To Otters

The London Knights suffered a tough 7-3 loss to the Erie Otters in Game 2 of the Western Conference semi-finals.

On Friday, the Otters had a 2-0 advantage in the first period, and extended their lead to 5-0 going into the third. The Knights tried to catch up in the final frame scoring three goals of their own, but Erie scored two final goals to ensure their win.

The Otters now lead the series 2-0.

Jack Hidi, Aaron Berisha and Chandler Yakimowicz each scored one goal for London.

The Knights will face off against the Otters again for Game 3 on Sunday at 7pm.

Two men arrested in Tashmoo Ave. standoff

Sarnia police said the investigation began on May 29 after the victim was allegedly attacked by acquaintances at a residence near Tashmoo Avenue and Christopher Drive at Aamjiwnaang First Nation.
