Fatal Collision Near Huron Park

The driver of a pick-up is dead after a single-vehicle crash north of London.

Huron County OPP say they responded to the crash scene on Mount Carmel Drive between Parr Line and Ausable Line at about 2:45am Tuesday.

Their investigation revealed that the eastbound Ford F-150 pick-up was eastbound on Mount Carmel Drive when it left the roadway and hit a concrete bridge. The driver was alone in the vehicle and pronounced dead on the scene.

He has been identified as 62-year-old Jerry Morley of North Middlesex.

Sarnia police said the investigation began on May 29 after the victim was allegedly attacked by acquaintances at a residence near Tashmoo Avenue and Christopher Drive at Aamjiwnaang First Nation.
