Dream Lottery Tickets Selling Quickly

The deadline for the spring Dream Lottery early bonus draw is quickly approaching and officials say tickets are going fast.

To be eligible for the early bonus draw you must buy your tickets before midnight on Tuesday, April 28.

All money raised through the Dream Lottery goes towards the foundations for St. Joseph's Health Care, the Children's Hospital and the London Health Sciences Foundation.

Since 1996, the lottery has raised $25-million for local health care.

"Donor funds provide items such as state of the art facilities , innovative medical equipment and sometimes they fund education initiatives because we train the next generation of care givers in our hospitals and we also fund medical research, for which there is no other funding," says President and CEO of the St. Joseph's Health Care Foundation Michelle Campbell. "Operating dollars that we receive from government provide the standard of care, but in order to explore new ideas, to trial new medical equipment, we need to have flexibility to make those things happen."

The grand prize winner will choose between four dream homes or $1-million in cash.

The final draw is June 25.
