Police Call St. Thomas Man's Death Murder

St. Thomas police now say a man found dead inside his Talbot St. apartment on Christmas Day was murdered.

Dante DiGiandomenico, 36, died as a result of what investigators call sharp force trauma.

Investigators now say as a result of evidence returned from the Centre of Forensic Sciences and the Office of the Regional Corner they believe this case is a homicide.

Police have remained tight-lipped about the investigation and will not say how exactly the man was killed.

DiGiandomenico owned and ran the Upper Deck restaurant in St. Thomas and graduated from St. Joseph’s High School. His family held a private funeral without public visitation.

Anyone with any information is asked to contact police or Crime Stoppers.
