Parking Rules Relaxing This Weekend

The annual lifting of parking restrictions in London is set to begin this weekend.

As of Friday, Londoners will be allowed to park overnight on city streets without fear of getting a ticket. There are, however, exceptions. Some streets will still be subject to overnight parking restrictions.

The lifting of the ban also does not apply to commercial motor vehicles, mobile homes or trailers. Vehicles will not be allowed to park on city streets for longer than 12 hours at a time.

Normal parking rules will return on Labour Day.
