One person is in custody after London police received a report about a man with a rifle in the White Oaks Mall parking lot.
The London Police Service says on Saturday around 6:19pm, officers responded to the report and became involved in a foot pursuit with a suspect.
During the chase, police say there was an "accidental discharge of a police firearm into the ground."
The foot pursuit ended with a man is custody and no injuries.
Police say the investigation is ongoing.
