Bomb Threat Made by "Distraught Man"

London police have re-opened are area in the east end that had been blocked off while they investigated a bomb threat.

Officers were called to Huron St. at Clarke Rd. at about 1am after a call from a distraught man who claimed to have explosives.

The explosives disposal unit was called to the scene. According to police, it "disrupted" a package that was found inside a vehicle, and no explosives were discovered.

A 44-year-old man is under arrest but there are no charges against him yet.

Two men arrested in Tashmoo Ave. standoff

Sarnia police said the investigation began on May 29 after the victim was allegedly attacked by acquaintances at a residence near Tashmoo Avenue and Christopher Drive at Aamjiwnaang First Nation.
