Charges Laid After Bomb Scare

Charges have now been laid in connection with a bomb scare in east London on Wednesday.

Police were called to a gas station at the corner of Huron St. and Clarke Rd. around 1am.

Police say a distraught man claimed to have explosives. Nearby businesses were evacuated and the London police explosives disposal unit was called in.

A a package in the man's car was "disrupted" and no explosives were found.

Dale Ashe, 44, is now charged with obstructing police, threats to destroy property, uttering death threats, mischief, and resisting arrest.

Two men arrested in Tashmoo Ave. standoff

Sarnia police said the investigation began on May 29 after the victim was allegedly attacked by acquaintances at a residence near Tashmoo Avenue and Christopher Drive at Aamjiwnaang First Nation.
