Severe Thunderstorm Watch Lifted

Environment Canada has lifted a severe thunder storm watch for the London area.

After thunderstorms swept through the city Tuesday night, more storms hit London Wednesday afternoon.

Environment Canada issued another severe thunderstorm watch for London as well as Middlesex and Elgin Counties in the middle of the afternoon. That was later upgraded to a severe thunderstorm warning as storms cells approached the area.

Just before 5pm, the warning was downgraded back to a watch. The watch was then lifted before 6pm.
