Excitement is building among horse racing fans for the Molson Pace night at the Western Fair Raceway.
Eight of the top aged horses in North America will compete on Friday for the $150,000 prize.
"The best horses in the world come out along with the best drivers," says raceway Marketing Coordinator Sarah Imrie. "It is an exciting night as someone who is involved in horse racing, but it is definitely an exciting night for anyone who's never been."
The Miss Molson Pace Pageant was held Thursday in Victoria Park. It showcased four female horses in celebration of Friday night's race.
The first race begins on Friday at 7:15pm.
