UPDATE: Driver Hospitalized After Train-Car Collision

The man who was sent to hospital after his car was struck by a train in London is in fair condition.

The London Police Service says the collision occurred at the train tracks near the intersection of Piccadilly St. and St. George St. just before 10am on Saturday.

According to officers at the scene, the vehicle was likely in motion at the time of the collision, and there were no train crossing guards on the tracks.

A similar collision occurred at the same intersection in 2013.

All roads surrounding the scene are now open, however, police are still investigating.
